Notes Grid Page

You can review all note records added into the application in a grid on the Notes Grid page based on your user role’s permissions. Access the Notes Grid page by clicking on the Notes tab on the left sidebar. The main elements on the Notes Grid page are numbered in the screenshot below and descriptions are provided following the image.

  1. Notes Grid filters: you can filter the Notes Grid to narrow down the notes displayed in the grid. The filters available by default are "Note Type", "Created Date", and "Last Updated Date". You can add more filters by clicking the Filter Menu button (), selecting the fields by which you want to narrow down the grid data, then clicking Done. The filter menu includes all note fields.
  2. Notes Grid: each row represents one note record in Case IQ. Click a note row and a note's page will be loaded (see A Note's Page). You will only see notes that you have permissions to access on the Notes grid. 
  3. Add Note button: navigates you to the New Note form to add a note (see Add a Note).
  4. “Search content…”: enter text in the search box and the grid will pull all notes that (1) contain the text and (2) you have permissions to access (read Grids for details).
  5. Select note: click the checkbox to select the note row and access additional grid actions (read Grids for details).
  6. Grid pages: navigate through the grid results using the page links below the grid. The number of records based on your filters and search criteria is shown at the right bottom corner of the page.
