Log in to Case IQ
Depending on your application's configuration, you can log in to Case IQ either by entering a username and password or with Single Sign On (SSO). This article explains both methods to log in to Case IQ for the first time. If you have previously logged in to Case IQ and forgot your password, see Reset Password.
Username and Password
Before you can log in with a username and password, your System Administrator must create an account and generate a temporary password on your behalf. When an account is created for you, you will receive three emails from Case IQ:
1. Password Generated: includes your username and a link to your Case IQ application.
2. New Password: contains your temporary, system-generated password. The temporary password will expire in one day, see Change Password for instructions on resetting it.
3. Password Expiring Soon: a reminder that the temporary password will expire in one day, with a link to the New Password page.
When you have received all three emails, you can log in to Case IQ:
- Open the “Password Generated” email and click the link to your system, e.g. https://[your company name].caseiq.app.
- Your application's Login page will be loaded. Fill in the username included in the “Password Generated” email and the temporary password provided in the “New Password” email.
- Click the Sign Inbutton. You will now be logged in to your Case IQ application.
- If your organization uses Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), you can now set up MFA for Case IQ. See Set Up MFA for Your Account for instructions.
Copying Temporary Passwords
Make sure to copy only the letters and numbers in your temporary password, not the spaces before or after the password.
SSO
If your application has an SSO integration with Case IQ, you may also log in with one of the following options:
- Your IT team or System Administrator will provide you a direct link or desktop shortcut to log in to Case IQ.
- The Login page will have a “Login with the identity provider” link, shown in the screenshot below. Click the link to access your organization’s SSO login page.
- If you fill in your information on Case IQ's Login page and click Sign In, you will be navigated to your organization's SSO page.
