Link a Profile to Another Profile
You can connect two profiles in Case IQ to show a relationship between them if needed. In this article, we will use profiles for “Laura Bousfield” and “Brock Sanders”, who are a couple.
Link a Profile
You can link a profile from its page using the following steps:
- Click the Linked Profiles tab on a profile's page. Then, click the Link Profile button.
- In the Linked Profile Search pop-up, search for and select another profile to link with the current profile. You can use the "Search grid..." bar and grid filters to narrow down the results displayed in the grid.
- After selecting a profile, you can enter an explanation for linking the profiles in the “Reason for Link” field.
- To link the profiles, click the Add Link button. If you need to return to the search results and choose a different profile, click the Back button.
- The link you created will be displayed on both profiles' pages under the Linked Profiles tab. In this example, Brock's profile will be shown on Laura's Link Profiles tab and vice versa.
Edit a Profile Link
After creating a profile link, you can later edit the "Reason" field from either profile's page. The video clip in this example will make changes from Laura's profile.
- On the Linked Profiles tab of the profile's page, click the link's row in the grid.
- In the Manual Link pop-up, update the text in the "Reason" field.
- Click Save on the pop-up.
Delete a Profile Link
You can delete a profile link from either of the linked profiles' pages. The video clip in this example will delete the link from Laura's profile.
- On the Linked Profiles tab of the profile's page, select the checkbox for the link's row in the grid.
- Click the Delete button that appears in the grid header.
- Click Delete on the pop-up.
