HR Flags
Flags can help your users identify and classify cases. Your application's System Administrator can create and manage flags, so they are specifically tailored for your organization's case management process (see Flags for instructions). This article lists and describes a few example flags that System Administrators can add to your HR Case IQ application.
-
High
Priority
- Suggested background colour: red.
- You can create a "High Priority" flag to indicate that a case is high priority and, as a result, increased SLA’s and escalations are applicable.
- Cases with high priority usually involve issues like harassment, workplace accident, employee misconduct, etc.
-
Medium
Priority
- Suggested background colour: yellow.
- A "Medium Priority" flag indicates that a case does not require immediate attention but should proceed through your standard case process.
-
Low Priority
- Suggested background colour: green.
- A "Low Priority" flag can be used to categorize cases of minor severity that do not require immediate attention. High and medium priority cases should be worked on before taking on low priority cases.
- This category usually includes general HR inquiries, such as employment document and benefits information requests.
-
On-Hold
- Suggested background colour: light blue.
- An "On-Hold" flag can inform the investigators and leadership that a case is not currently being worked on and the investigation has been paused.
- Additional information may be required to progress the case.
-
Anonymous
- Suggested background colour: orange.
- An "Anonymous" flag can be used as a quick indicator that the involved parties of a case have been recognized as anonymous.
- In most cases, the anonymous party is usually the reporter, complainant, and/or witness.
-
Executive
Involvement
- Suggested background colour: blue.
- You can use the 'Executive Involvement" flag to group cases of significant risk or critical importance due to the involvement of executives.
